                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF 
                   CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE TO PURCHASE FROM 
                   ROBERT L. BROWN PROPERTY, MORE PARTICULARLY 
                   DESCRIBED HEREIN, FOR A CONSIDERATION OF 
                   TWENTY THOUSAND AND NO/100 DOLLARS 
                   ($20,000.00).
                   
                   
                                                     
                   
                   
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the City be and is hereby authorized 
       to purchase from Robert L. Brown the property described 
       hereinbelow for a consideration of $20,000.00:
            BEING LOCATED IN THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, HAMILTON 
            COUNTY, TENNESSEE:
            
            BEING the North One Hundred (100) feet of the West 
            Twenty-five (25) feet of Lot Twelve (12) (or C), Block 
            Fifteen (15), (or B), in Foster's Subdivision, as per 
            plat of record of said subdivision in the Register's 
            Office of Hamilton County, Tennessee.  Said lot fronts 
            Twenty-five (25) feet on the South side of East Ninth 
            Street and extends back Southwardly of uniform width, 
            One Hundred (100) feet; TOGETHER with all the right, 
            title and interest and estate of said testator in and to 
            a one-half interest in the wall extending part of the 
            way along the East line of said lot, said wall being the 
            West line of the property formerly owned by the 
            Chattanooga Brewing Company.
            
            For prior title see deed recorded in Book 2740, page 
            305, in the Register's Office of Hamilton County, 
            Tennessee.
